Water temperatures in Israel rarely fall below 18°C and the air is between 18° and 26°C. In the span of a week you can enjoy blue skies, sunshine and calm seas, while also having the opportunity to practice various strokes and rescue techniques as you are chased by 1-2m of surf and strong winds – perfect for taking your skills to the next level.
ISKA
We work according to the new International Sea Kayak Awards (ISKA), the equivalent of the old British Canoe Union star awards, and offer 2, 3 and 4 star training and assessment with our experienced instructors.
Trips
Why not combine training with some historic paddling? The Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, offers spectacular views of the desert mountains and dramatic skies as you paddle in the mineral-rich waters. The famous Sea of Galilee, in sharp contrast, lies among rolling green hills, close to the biblical towns of Nazareth and Tiberias. Both are perfect sites for practicing some of your new paddling skills.
And if you need a break from all that kayaking, how about a trip to the unique city of Jerusalem, with its bustling markets, ancient archeological sites and a mosaic of lifestyles and ethnic cuisine? Or just relax in Tel Aviv, renowned for its nightlife, restaurants, galleries and the old fishing port of Jaffa.
