Alaska

Calving glaciers and paddling through broken ice. Water temperature: 4° Celcius. On the water, we're escorted by seals, sea lions, dolphins, orcas, and humpback whales.

We are paddling in
Prince William Sound, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, peaking over thick rain forests. After a day of paddling, we come ashore and set up camp, making sure to pick some delicious and rare salmon berries along the way (also a favorite of the local black bears). We all congregate around the campfire eating a hot meal, when someone usually breaks out a flask of Jaegermeister, which we pour over blue-hued glacial ice. Before retiring for the night, the food must be stored in bear-proof containers and hoisted high in the trees, to keep away the curious ursine creatures.
We only use high-end composite performance kayaks made in UK by NIgel Dennis
