The Greek Adventure
The Mediterranean is renowned for its ancient history, its civilization, its light and its beauty. The Greek archipelago is its crowning jewel.
These islands crowd the northeast part of the Mediterranean, sparkling in the sun. There are over 3000 of them and if rocky outcroppings are included the number reaches 9500, 140 of which are inhabited.
This Adventure is all about paddling between bare islands with snow-white villages clinging to the lips of towering cliffs gazing at the crystal blue sea. We explore enchanting turquoise coves, rock gardens and hidden caves, and trek to twelfth century Crusaders castles, secluded chapels and monasteries dense with groves of olives and pine trees.
Our Greek trip is for those who want to relax by dining at specially selected village tavernas, taking a nap on white sand beaches, snorkeling, swimming, and even improving kayak skills with our B.C.U certified instructors.
In every expedition we choose a different group of islands to explore, usually paddling between15 to 30 km a day. At the end of the day, we might choose to spend the night at a local guest house in a traditional village, eating calamari and Greek salad in a local taverna, or decide to camp on remote sandy beach, relaxing by the campfire, eating pasta and drinking ouzo and retsina (in moderation, of course!) This trip is for those who have some paddling experience and would like to improve their skills by paddling the warm water of the Mediterranean Sea.
We paddle between 10 to 25 km per day and make sure we have time for hiking, swimming and relaxing on the beachThis expedition is for paddlers with previous sea kayaking experience who would like to further develop skills that will help them enjoy paddling in windy and rough sea conditions

The Sea Kayaks we use
Our classic Dodecanese Islands Trip
The Dodecanese is a group of over 1000 islands and islets, of which only 26 are inhabited. They are in the southeast corner of the Aegean Sea, just above Crete. They are the final remains of the bridge between Greece and Asia Minor, the peaks of the mountains which sank into the Mediterranean Sea four million years ego.
The islands we'll visit in our trip:
Kos Island - This is our kayak base and this is were we'll start and end our trip as well as visiting the fames Asklepeion, the Venetian castle of the knights of St, John ,the tree of Hippocrates and the hot springs.
Kalimnos Island – The island of the sponge divers and high mountains that become popular for rock climbing.
Leros Island – With its deep big bays and plenty of greenery, dominated by an imposing crusaders fortress.
Telendos Island – This island was part of Kalymnos until an earthquake separated the two in the year 535. A small romantic place with one village and no cars at all.
