Portugal Surf Safari
In our Kayak Surf Safari we take on the world-class waves of the Portuguese coast.
Portugal offer some of the very best surf spots in Europe. The great numbers of beaches and wind protected bays, the warm climate and the consistent Atlantic swells make it a perfect all-year surfing destination.
We surf only the best composite surf kayaks, made by Watertech. We’ll teach you to master both basic and advanced surf moves such as the take-off, bottom turn, top turn, cut back, and more advanced moves.
Our instructors use video analysis of your rides at the end of each session, and we’ll usually continue the discussion at the end of the day over a glass of Portugal’s famous port.
Our accommodation is a local guest house, where we get a good night’s sleep so we’re ready to tackle green waves wherever they happen to be the next morning.
After a long day’s surfing, Portugal’s fine restaurants and wine await us.
The sunny and sandy beaches of Israel and the warm winter provide perfect conditions for surf kayaking.

Terra Santa Surf Squad
Surf kayaking is new and rapidly evolving sport. Terra Santa is doing its part to get out the message of this exciting and dynamic pastime. Terra Santa brought the sport to Israel, and it’s taken off with the speed of a sharply carved bottom turn. The unique adrenalin rush of surf kayaking has made addicts of quite a few Terra Santa Club members, so whenever the surf is up, you’ll find us out on the waves.
Beginners surf during surf sessions under the tutelage of our instructors, using surf-oriented plastic whitewater kayaks to introduce them to the sport. But after a short while, they begin to notice that the instructors and the advanced paddlers of the Terra Santa Surf Squad are shredding the waves with their own dedicated composite surf kayaks. Surf kayaks are designed to ride a wave at high speed like a board surfer. Squad members own quite a few surf kayaks, from the Mega Reflex, Neutron, and Scarab, to Watertech’s 666, Speedy, and Lucifer.
Every now and then we hold surf clinics with world class kayak surfers such as the UK’s Chris Harvey. If the surf is good, we’ll take a break from our local break in Herzliya, and spend the day checking out the Ashdod or Haifa breaks.

Courses are held all week at Herzliya's Marina and Hof Hanechim.
